Release Confidence Readiness Check

Answer eight evidence questions for one upcoming launch, migration, AI rollout, integration, or production release. The result runs only in your browser and routes you to the smallest bounded next step.

Crystalline release artifact passing through a golden inspection threshold
1. Can the team identify the exact release under review?

The decision should resolve to a build, image, artifact, or deployed commit—not a branch name or “latest.”

2. Are critical user routes and workflows tested against objective acceptance checks?

Passing unit tests alone does not prove that the release works for its important users.

3. Does deployment evidence include terminal provider state?

A successful push or build start is not proof that the provider completed and served the intended release.

4. Is rollback owned, executable, and tested?

Rollback needs a named decision owner, an exact mechanism, and a safe validation check.

5. Will monitoring catch functional failure—not only uptime?

A green health endpoint can coexist with broken checkout, authentication, data, or AI behavior.

6. Are schema, data, and configuration changes reversible?

The team should know which changes cannot safely roll back with the application.

7. Are secrets, environment, and dependency assumptions validated?

Confirm the release in the real target environment without exposing secret values.

8. Is one accountable release owner holding a decision-ready evidence packet?

The final go/no-go call needs an owner, timestamps, results, open risks, and exact blocked reasons.
